This recently opened Art and Design Gallery is linked to various higher institutions of arts and culture, such as the Museo de Arte Moderno (Museum of Modern Art), the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (National Fine Arts Institute) and the Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil. Some of the artists associated with this gallery constitute the new generation being recognised in biennials and salons. The gallery displays both new and internationally established Mexican artists.
