Carlos O'Brian's, Puerto Vallarta

A young, lively crowd keeps this downtown establishment in the Malecon area jammed every night. As the first true nightclub, it continues to be the place to go. There is a Happy Hour daily from 6pm-8pm, but the real action doesn't start until about 10pm. There is often a waiting period to get in, and snagging drink service can be a challenge, but most of the clientele doesn't mind. Dance floor too crowded? Dancing on the tables is common. Food is served but most customers are here for the party, not the cuisine. Carlos O'Brian's also offers its own clothing line, so be sure to pick up a t-shirt on your way out.
