Overview

Carite Forest totals 6,000 acres of an enclosed park. Cerro La Santa is located within the park and is an estimated 3,000 feet, the highest elevation in the forest. Offering great facilities for day trips, hikers can find 50 tables and 30 tents available for picnics. Also, for those who wish to spend more time, there are two camping areas that can accommodate a maximum of 90 visitors. Each camp site has a fireplace as well as bathroom facilities.
