Overview
Approximately 15 minutes from the Airport, El Comandante is the only racetrack on the island. El Comandante repeatedly ranks among the top fifteen racetracks in the US. It is one of the fastest-growing racing venues in the world, with the unique achievement of nearly doubling its handle and purse from 1991 to 1993, when most race tracks were suffering set-backs. For dining options, try the Terrace Dining Room for lunch or dinner where they serve International cuisine. The Winners Sports Bar is also available for cocktails and soft drinks throughout the races.
