Tucked away in Rincon on the west coast of the island in the posh hotel of the same name, this restaurant's creations are considered some of the finest outside of San Juan. A masonry staircase sweeps from the garden to the second-floor landings, where soaring ceilings and a villa-like atmosphere awaits diners. The menu changes often and is likely to include chilled parsnip soup, a fricassee of wahoo with wild mushrooms, grilled loin of beef with peppercorns and medallions of lobster in an orange-falvored beurre-blanc sauce. The grilled breast of duckling with bay leaves and raspberry sauce is also delectable.
