This old plantation, once owned by well-known planter John Pinney, has been bought by one of his descendants and is in the throes of restoration. The ruins tucked away on the mountainside can easily be seen while riding the ferry between St. Kitts and Nevis. It's also possible to hike to the property from tne main road to the entrance which is just south of the Four Seasons Resort. Hike up the road across from the entrance to Sunshine's bar, which is marked with a sign. The ruins include a three-story great house, which was grand in style, other outbuildings, and a camel barn for animals that Pinney brought to Nevis with him from Europe.
