Overview

This popular club offers a place for the elegantly dressed over 25-year-old crowd to sit and relax in chunky lounge chairs to unwind with some fun and music. It offers different specials such as ladies free before 10.30p, Suck n' Blow and two for one drinks. There's always a vibrant week of activities that kicks off with Comedy Tuesday, where audiences are treated to either local or international comedians.   a middle class man an a black man or even a dark skin cloured man cant gain entry to dis racial club called 51 degrees

  Great place to shake.......discerning.....security keeps the rough groups out. As an AmericanI highly recommend while in Port of Spain.

  Let me join the list of patrons who were refused entry to this club CLEARLY based on the color of our skin. I was visiting Trinidad last weekend with three friends, two guys who work with the Caricom Secretariat, they were dressed very nicely as grown folk usually are in slacks and shirt and one girl friend who lives in TT. The security would barely give us a response when we asked how much to get in etc. we were told the club is full but we actually counted 12 people who were let in. Since we don't need to beg to spend our money we went elsewhere but they both remarked that TRinidad certainly has the most blatantly racist atmosphere when it comes to nightclubs....   Read More

  Omg this was so embarrassing to be visiting Trinidad for the 1st time for their Carnival celebration at which i had a great time and to have my last night abruptly end with the fact that racism still exist even in a small upscale country like this. A group of us visited 51 Degrees to be clearly refused entry to this popular spot because of the color of my skin. This club evidently have double standards with no remorse, the hostess was blatantly prejudiced to the color of our skin and didn't hesitate to show it as in our presence she allowed entry to certain patrons with the same dress code that disallowed some of us from entry and arrogantly told us to go somewhere else. After my experience I would never recommend 51 Degrees to anyone. After so many yrs of black people fighting for our freedom and coming out from racism to be reminded that it is still alive and well in the 21st century is horrifying....   Read More

  I travel home to Trinidad twice a year. Love my country, but the attitude of staff at the entrance, by instruction they 'claim' proves to me that my lovely country still has people (the owners)with social retardation because of their racism. Get a life!...   Read More
