Maho Bay's sandy beach stretches out along a lovely north coast cove. The beach is narrow and the water shallow, but good snorkeling can be had along the rocks and the point that connects this beach to the one that fronts on Maho Bay Campground. A trail behind the beach leads uphill to the campground. A small pavilion at the north end of the beach provides shelter. The bay is a popular anchorage for sail and powerboats, and can get noisy over summer holidays when flotillas of boaters arrive.
