Overview

Enter this paradise amid six thousand and more plant species preserved to delight visitors. Here six creatively designed sections, bring in the freshness of each region's exotic plants. An amazing tropical variety blooms in the green house, named Florence Dvorsky. Their much-awaited educational programs, summer vacation activities and annual orchid exhibitions are refreshing change from the mundane sight-seeing. Painstakingly preserved by the management, this garden is undeniably a pleasant place to spend a day.

Just want to provide an update!! The website is now at www.en.botanic.co.il. Annual orchid exhibitions have long been replaced by a variety of other festivals (details on website!). The Tropical conservatory is about to undergo renovation and expansion, and building will soon start on a major Children's Discovery trail. Still plenty to see and do though, including Flower Train tour of all the sections, a Bible Trail and biblical crop exhibit, an African Savannah Grass maze for the children, a herb and medicinal plant garden, a great lakeside restaurant, and more! Well worth a visit!...   Read More
