Overview
As visitors' centres go, this is quite impressive. It is in fact a historical museum and archaeological site. Plaques along the walls of the subterranean space provide highlights of Jaffa's long, colorful history. The center is built around partially excavated 3rd BCE century ruins. An English language film on the ancient city can be viewed, and a free, informative map is available.
