International Motorsports Hall of Fame, Birmingham

Located adjacent to the Talladega Superspeedway, the International Motorsports Hall of Fame is one of the most popular and impressive facilities of its kind in the country. Although Talladega is known primarily as a stop on the NASCAR circuit, this museum (true to its name) is concerned with motorsports of all kinds, from Grand Prix to snowmobile racing, and everything in between. The collections, reported to be worth $25 million, include famous automobiles, boats, and motorcycles from the past and present. The museum is open every day except major holidays.
