The Crow Creek Mine is a recreational mine in Anchorage. What was the largest mine producing area in South Central Alaska during World War II, has now become a tourist attraction where people from all over the world come here to try their luck and find gold. Local miners help the visitors through the process of the gold hunt which gives visitors a first hand experience with mining. Besides, several weddings and private events are held here amidst the backdrop of this historic site.
