Monte Vista Lounge, Flagstaff

In contrast to the Old Post Office next door, this lounge attracts a fairly straight-laced clientele. Here, they're more into sports than the arts, but everyone is still out to have a good time. A generally young group does more than its share of both drinking and dancing here. There's live music every night and it ranges from blues to rock. Thursday night "Open Mikes" are often a hoot, but on the odd occasion, you can hear some real talent. Drinks are priced from about USD3-5, with cover charges (usually around USD5-10) on some nights depending on the band. Happy hour starts at noon. Opens everyday at 9p.
