Mountain Oasis, Flagstaff

If you're expecting belly dancers and an exotic atmosphere, you might be disappointed. With its bentwood furnishings, brick walls and plethora of plants, this place is more like a Boston college-area cafe or a Seattle eatery. But, don't let its looks deceive you, it serves some very authentic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean fare. Many vegetarian selections are on the menu, as are seafood, poultry and steaks. At lunch, choose from hot and cold sandwiches and pasta dishes. Full breakfasts are served, as are baked goods and specialty coffees. Dinner main courses are mostly in the $10-15 range, breakfasts and lunches $4-8.
