Greekfest, Phoenix

This is no typical taverna, it's more like a Mediterranean palace. Owners Tony and Susan Makridis have brought Greek dining in the Valley up more than a few notches with an attractive and deliciously authentic restaurant aptly named—Greekfest. With marble floors, stucco walls and Mediterranean blue exterior trim, this place will have you feeling like Aristotle Onassis! Pages and pages of tasty Greek treats from spanikopita and dolmathes to moussaka and souvlaki are waiting to be devoured. Every dish is painstakingly prepared and beautifully presented. One taste will have you yelling "Opa!"
