At the African American Multicultural Museum visitors can learn about cultural and historical contributions by African Americans to American society. With the mission “Fellowship through Education” the center seeks to educate visitors and local youth through the arts, historical items and speakers featured throughout the year via a broad variety of exhibits and programs. Exhibits are changed quarterly and special presentations can be arranged for adults, children and teens by calling in advance. Subjects for exhibits range from American and African history, cross-cultural relations and multiculturalism, American art and music and much more.
