Carlsbad Tavern and Restaurant, Scottsdale

Carlsbad is a fabulous New Mexican style restaurant that incorporates the best of New Mexico's outstanding culinary traditions. Their newspaper-like-menu includes some authentic Hatch Chili, Chipotle Chili and Blue Corn. The Blue Corn Enchiladas filled with cheese, chicken or shrimp is one of the not-to-be-missed items among the entrees. The Fiesta Rellenos consists of roasted poblano chilies stuffed with sauteed vegetables, mushrooms, onions, feta cheese and even more chilies. But it's not just the food that has the patrons hooked. Carlsbad sports a cool bat cave theme with the interiors resembling a stone cave.Sit out at the superb outdoor patio which is an extension of the theme and features great use of natural elements.
