Since its incorporation in 1951, Scottsdale has been serving as a major shopping destination the US and has significantly contributed towards tourism in Arizona. Historic buildings and landmarks, zoos, museums and aquariums are tucked around every corner of the city. Major attractions that the city houses, include the Scottsdale Fashion Square, the Scottsdale Contemporary Arts Museum, the historical Statue of Winfield and Helen Scott in Old Town Scottsdale.
