Overview
This is Arizona's official theater company, rotating productions between Tucson and Phoenix, the state's capital, for a one-month run in either city. There are six productions for each season, requiring a repertoire usually consisting of one classic (mostly Shakespeare), some twentieth-century standards, a musical revue, and a selection of recent plays. The acting and directing usually meets the standards of the best regional theaters. Half-price "rush" tickets are available one hour before curtain at the ATC box office.
