Each year in April and October, the Old Pueblo gives its local musicians a chance to shine and win a prize. More than 100 bands perform in clubs on Congress Street and Fourth Avenue and on stages set on the streets, while street vendors offer spicy Southwestern foods and refreshments. Hear blues, swing, rock, country and Latin music. The event will climax in the annual "Tammies" awards selecting Tucson's best musicians of the year. A wristband for around USD5 covers the cost for listening to live concerts in all venues. Food and alcoholic beverage costs are not included. See website for dates and details.
