Disneyland Itineraries

Planning a trip to Disneyland? Our experienced travel editors break down the town so you can make the most of your stay. Let these itineraries be your guide, whether you're here for a weekend or a whole week.
  • Day 1
  • 1 Arrive when the park opens, and stroll through Main Street, U.S.A. Scope out a spot on Main Street for the parade that afternoon. Be sure to check the daily schedule for parade times.
  • 2 Walk through the Castle into Fantasyland. Sample It's a Small World, Peter Pan, and Snow White.
  • 3 Begin your adventures under the sea with Finding Nemo.
  • 4 Try your hand at Pin Trading.
  • 5 Ride the rails of Big Thunder Railroad.
  • 6 Head over to Golden Horseshoe for a bite to eat and Billy Hill and the Hillbillies.
  • 7 Space Mountain time!
  • 8 Enjoy dinner and jazz music at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen.
  • 9 Head back into the park for the Fireworks Spectacular.
  • Day 2
  • 1 Get a jump on your day by getting to California Adventure when it opens.
  • 2 Get a FASTPASS for World of Color before heading over to Soarin'. They sell out very quickly.
  • 3 Then make your way over to Toy Story Mania! before the long gets too long. 
  • 4 It's time to scream down the rails at California Screamin'.
  • 5 Go for a ride on Grizzly River Run.
  • 6 It's time to see Aladdin and Jasmin fly through the air in Disney's Aladdin—A Musical Spectacular.
  • 7 Make your way to The Twilight Zone, Tower of Terror and then ride the other rides in Hollywood Land.
  • 8 It's time for dinner at Naples Ristorante e Pizza.
  • 9 Make your way back to California Adventure for Disney's World of Color.
  • Day 3
  • 1 California means surf, sand and sun. Head to one of Orange County's beautiful beaches.
  • Day 4
  • 1 Have lunch at the Rainforest CafĂ© in Downtown Disney.
  • 2 Stroll through the shops, and pick up some last-minute souvenirs. Don't miss the Lego Imagination Center.
  • 3 Play some games at ESPN Zone.
  • 4 Relax at dinner at Hook's Pointe & Wine cellar at Disneyland Hotel.
  • Day 5
  • 1 Grab your camera and head to Goofy's Kitchen at Disneyland Hotel. This character breakfast offers fun and photo ops for the whole family.
  • 2 See a movie in Downtown Disney.
  • 3 Grab some lunch at Tortilla Jo's in Downtown Disney.
  • 4 Time for baseball! Drive to Angel Stadium and cheer for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
  • Day 6
  • 1 After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, head to the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana. Let the kids explore and learn at this hands-on science center.
  • Day 7
  • 1 Enjoy some fun in the sun at Raging Waters in San Dimas. Located about a half-hour drive from Disneyland, Raging Waters is a water park with slides, lagoons, chutes and other water thrills.
