Bert Green Fine Arts, Los Angeles

Perhaps the classiest, most collector-friendly gallery of the official Arts District of downtown LA, Bert Green Fine Arts has presided over the independent gallery row for many years and has unequivocally cemented its prominent standing. The large space is partitioned into five rooms, all housing select pieces of art. Catalogs of all previous exhibits are also on hand and readily available. A good time to enjoy the remarkable selection of works on display at Bert Green is on the second Tuesday of each month, when all the downtown galleries open their doors from 12 pm to 9 pm for an all-day bustling event called The Art Walk. A good share of the exhibited pieces is rotated on a monthly basis so there is something new to feast your eyes on every month. -Kate Sobol
