Chameau didn't exactly get off to the best start. A tiny B.Y.O.B. restaurant open only on weekends, not much notice was taken of it initially, but today this French-Moroccan restaurant is one of the most popular hangouts in West Hollywood. Duck Bastilla, grilled lamb chops, Blackened Halibut, and Baby Onion Couscous are some of the dishes that feature on the seasonal menu. At dessert, the Almond Fig Snake (with saffron sauce and black pepper cream) wins hands down. Salads and other vegetarian delights help dieting patrons stay on the wagon, and wines and beers are also available.
