Chuco’s Justice Center , Los Angeles

Chuco’s Justice Center is a community space that is dedicated to the social justice movement, it is named after Jesse Chuco Becerra, a volunteer (rehabilitated here) who was killed, while negotiating peace between local rivals. The idea is to provide a safe and stable environment to the kids and youth, who are on parole or house arrest or out of lock-up. All its efforts and endeavors are directed towards achieving this purpose and the center closely works with the community. Concerts, lectures, workshops, seminars, fun events and similar other activities are held here. Apart from that, Chuco’s Justice Center also rents out this space for social events.
