Overview
The heart of the Arts District pulses between 4th and 5th, and Spring and Main. From here it radiates in every direction, adding up to the most dynamic area of downtown, featuring dozens of galleries and venues. On a second Thursday of each month, the Downtown Art Walk causes the whole area to literally overflow with life and spills into the traffic. Thousands of people of all ages come here to survey the gallery rows, attend the large artisan outdoor market, linger by a street band, partake of the Skid Row art and poetry bash and catch a stand-up or two.
