This museum focuses on local nautical memorabilia. Some exhibits include historical photographs of Los Angeles Harbor, ship models and assorted maritime equipment from the USS Los Angeles. Also featured are a 21-foot scale model of the Queen Mary and a 16-foot model of the Titanic constructed entirely out of toothpicks by a 14-year-old boy. The museum is situated beside one of the nation's busiest ports and housed in the former Municipal Ferry Building.
