Nariya, Los Angeles

Boasting a winsome 2nd-story location in a plaza on Sunset and El Centro and a large patio overlooking the boulevard, Nariya is the kind of place one might enjoy lingering at. Cheap drinks add an extra incentive. The vibe here is cheery and unassuming, with simple decor and smiley waitresses who put you right at ease. The food itself is honest-to-god lip-smacking Thai, with all the trimmings. The fish is particularly good. The place makes for a delectable and inexpensive lunch destination or dinner stopover on a night out in Hollywood, whether on the way to or from the clubs or seeing a musical at Pantages.
