Nawab of India, Los Angeles

This is one of the best Indian establishments on the Westside, if not in all of Los Angeles. The Garlic Naan alone is worth a visit; hot bread melts in your mouth. The rest of the menu is great, too, and features the staples you've come to love: chunks of chicken, lamb, beef and fresh vegetables in a variety of sauces and cooked until tender. Many of the dishes were designed with your health in mind, which might alleviate your concerns as you finish off your second helping. The staff is friendly, efficient and full of suggestions for those who can't decide. Please call ahead for hours.
