Red Pearl Kitchen merges a 1940s Shanghai style with upscale pan-Asian cuisine. Sofas, booths and chairs covered in rich fabrics, deep shades of red and orange lining the walls and ceiling and liberal use of acrylic in the dining room create a cool lounge atmosphere, while the electric blue patio with its Chinese doll-lined walls is perfect for groups. The family-style menu offers a selection of dim sum including crispy beef wontons, strawberry-cinnamon ribs and pork-shiitake shu mai. Innovation seems to be the theme at Red Pearl Kitchen with such dishes as short rib, pumpkin, massaman curry, spicy chicken and black pepper-caramel shrimp. The cocktail menu is long and inspired, with delicious surprises like their take on the mojito, the Red Pearl made with pomegranate juice, vodka and champagne.
