Spring Garden Restaurant, Los Angeles

While eating at this restaurant, you'll often hear several of the employees conversing in Chinese with the many local diners who are fluent speakers, as well as those who are actually from China and like to stop in here whenever visiting LA Located in the center of Pasadena in a simple beige, corner building that contains plenty of big leather booths and windows, this place has won over a loyal following of customers. The menu is a delight, with such appetizers as Pan Fried or Steamed Dumplings, Shrimp Toast and Ching Kiang Cure Pork. Beef and fowl entrees include Mongolian Beef, Shredded Beef with Plum Sauce, Smashed Chicken with Pine Nuts and Moo Goo Gai Pan. The shrimp, lobster and abalone meals are all equally excellent.
