Tango Grill, Los Angeles

The Tango Grill is one of the better Argentinian restaurants that seems to be gaining more and more popularity these days. Located in the heart of West Hollywood, the Tango offers your typical Argentinian dishes such as steaks, red snapper, and chicken parmigiana, along with a good variety of hot and cold tapas such as their Escalopes saltimbooca which is smoked bacon wrapped around sea scallops, and served with a spicy apricot sauce. It's a very casual affair and is a great choice for either lunch or dinner. You can chose to sit in the cozy dining room, or take your meal outdoors and watch the parade of flamboyance that governs Santa Monica Boulevard day and night. However, be aware, Argentina is not known for their slimming meals, portions are large and often heavy, and satisfying to the point of regret.
