Steinbeck Institute for Arts and Culture, Monterey

The Steinbeck Institute for Arts and Culture is a premier facility for a range of events located in the former Sherwood Hall, next to the Salinas Sports Complex. Operated by the National Steinbeck Center, this venue boasts a Performing Arts Center and three meeting/conference rooms, which can be used for a variety of purposes. Of the meeting rooms, the Santa Lucia Room is the biggest, measuring 2,280 square feet (211.8 square meters) and with a maximum capacity of 240 visitors in a theater-style arrangement. The Performing Arts Center can also be used for exhibitions, and it offers a total exhibition space of 11,630 square feet (1,080.4 square meters).
