The best way to know Crystal Cove is to join this walking tour and chat with the tour guides who grew up in Crystal Cove in the mid-20th Century. The biggest gain from the tour is the appreciation of the local effort in preserving the historic district for the public instead of a private resort. However, the tour is just as fun as educational. The cost is only the $10 parking fee, which can be waived by spending an equal amount at the Beachcomber Restaurant - a restaurant and bar by the ending point of the tour.
