Helm (The), Orange County

The Helm is a popular neighborhood bar located in Costa Mesa. After a day of shopping or sightseeing and dinner in one of Costa Mesa's great restaurants, check out this divey bar for a change of pace. Although it's filled with an older crowd in the afternoon, it fills up with a younger crowd at night. It serves as a change of pace from the typical Orange County slicked-up bar scene and is located next door to two other popular bars, the Goat Hill Tavern and the Yard House. When any of these bars get full, the crowd just spills into the one next door. Limited disabled access is provided.
