Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant, Orange County

Located just outside of Knott's amusement park, the main culinary draw here is the chicken served for lunch and dinner. The chicken is really out-of-this-world good. If you only love white meat, you can pay a small fee to just receive your favorite pieces. If a member of your party doesn't really enjoy eating chicken, simple salads, sandwiches and burgers are also on the menu, and don't forget to order a piece of one of Mrs. Knott's heavenly pies. It is a family-friendly environment with kids scattered about, eager to visit the amusement park. Later in the evening, the place often fills up with couples who've just stopped in for a piece of pie and a cup of coffee. There is a limited selection of wine and beer on the menu. The tasty breakfasts are also excellent. The eggs, bacon, toast and fresh juices are a delicious, filling way to start the day.
