Nesai, Orange County

Refurbished after a disaster to the former Issay, this Italian eatery is now called Nesai. 'Nesai' in Japanese means 'second generation' and Michiko Soffer's second endeavor has stayed up to the reputation of the former eatery. Now, however, the menu also features Japanese delights. Spicy tuna rolls, clams and shrimps in thick, garlic-flavored sauces, well cooked fish and veggies make for a lovely casual dining experience. You can try a wonderful mix of various cuisines for a hearty dinner. In case the tables aren't available, the lounge is where you can ask for anything on the menu.
