William R. Mason Regional Park, earlier known as University Regional Park, has been named after the ex-President of the Irvine Company. The 345 acres of land has been donated by the company, after which it was developed in phases to be opened to public. A 9.2 acre lake within the park is a hot-spot and favorite among the visitors. Activities that you can enjoy here are hiking, biking, golfing and the area has an amphitheater, volleyball courts and playgrounds. Also check out the events calender on the site to catch on some action on your visit here.
