Tommy Jacobs Bel Air Greens, Palm Springs

Bel Air Greens is a nine-hole executive golf course which makes it a great place to practice and play a quick round if you are short on time. Although it's a small par 32 course, you can still find some challenge with five holes of water and narrow fairways, and the small quick greens call for accuracy in chip shots. Bel Air is a very scenic course with lots of trees and great views of the nearby mountains – it doesn't have the desert feel of many of the other courses in the Palm Springs area. Conveniently located near downtown Palm Springs, Bel Air has a driving range and professional lessons too. For an extra $5.00 during twilight hours, you can play another nine holes – now that's a bargain. – Linda Steinmuller
