East Village, the largest district in downtown San Diego, has gone through some major redevelopment in the past decade. The Ballpark district has seen rapid construction since 1992 and is now transformed from an unsafe and deteriorated area to a modern, urban neighborhood. The development project was focused at preserving the areas historical sites along with constructing sleek and modern buildings. The area now features large playgrounds, parks, restaurants, a museum, huge parking space and much more. The residential project has been highly successful and has managed to attract a lot of investors and buyers.
