Billing itself as an "American Mexican Bar & Grill," they might also want to reverse the order to read "Grill & Bar" because the food, while mostly snack-y, arguably comes first. They do offer an extended happy hour, running Sunday through Wednesday from 1p to 7p. The atmosphere is young and upbeat with a sports-bar feel. The selection of tequila is extensive (and sometimes expensive, with an array of premium bottles). The fries with sausage is a great companion to slow down the absorption of alcohol and the Street Tacos are similar to what you'd find in Rosarito Beach. It is not a place for a calm evening, but if you are up for the fun, it's ready for you. -deTraci Regula
