Gringo’s Cantina, San Diego

On the outside, a few spare palm trees surround Gringo's Cantina. Inside, rustic colored wood floors, wooden tables, and a raised clay fire pit in the middle of the dining room give Gringo's Cantina the feel of a real Mexican kitchen. Gringo's Cantina serves many favorites from south of the border, as well as dishes like the Los Cabos (Shrimp Enchilada and grilled fish taco with rice and beans), Yucatan Salmon (mango-mustard glazed organic salmon, calamari rice, mango-habanero sauce), or many kinds of fajitas. All of the margaritas served at Gringo's Cantina are made with their house-made sweet sour, and they also serve a tequila flight that includes samples of their Blanco, Reposado, and Anejo premium tequila. - Erick Pettersen
