W Hotels have almost a cult following among the young, hip, and well-heeled, and this lobby bar at the San Diego location is no exception. The Living Room offers comfortable seating where most patrons wear sharp clothing and toss back new-era martinis and other cocktails while indulging in hard-core people watching. Various bits and pieces of nearly-modern Americana contribute to an almost-eerie home-like feeling but you'll never confuse it with Mom's house – there's too much going on in front of you for that.
