Pro Peninsula, San Diego

Pro Peninsula seeks to preserve the Baja Peninsula by working with volunteers and like-minded organizations to protect aquatic animals. At various times throughout the year, Pro Peninsula leaves space on their expeditions for people to take eco-tours. Sometimes they also leave the equipment behind and take people down on leisurely tours. Those interested in joining one of their expeditions or tours must either call or write the Pro Peninsula team. Those unable to join an eco-tour can help Pro Peninsula by adopting their choice of one of the five endangered species of sea turtles. When Pro Peninsula is not saving the aquatic life along the Baja Peninsula, they are educating children about preserving and protecting the Earth’s natural resources. - Erick Pettersen
