Funds raised from Walk For Opportunity go toward equipment, transportation and job placement to assist individuals with disabilities. Partnerships With Industry, who sponsor the event, bring together businesses and those with developmental disabilities (mental retardation, autism, cerebral palsy and epilepsy). Awards are given for those bringing in the most members, the most unique attire, raising the most money and the most team spirit.
