AMC Van Ness 14 is housed in a building originally designed as a Cadillac dealership. The rest of the structure has been gutted to make room for a gym and for 14 screens full of filmed entertainment. Once you take the escalator upstairs, it's generic multilevel multiplex and some of the theaters are quite a distance from the ground floor. The auditoriums themselves offer all the amenities: roomy seats, cup holders, and stadium seating--a boon for the vertically challenged. This theater is wheelchair accessible, assisted listening devices are available, and there is validated parking on the premises.
