Overview
The Barbie Museum in San Francisco was opened in 2009 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this world's most famous fashion doll. Here you can see almost every kind of barbie that was ever produced, from the first ones that creator Ruth Handler invented in 1959 to the latest, special edition dolls, and of course Barbie's handsome boyfriend Ken. Also, since this museum is not run by Mattel, Inc., you can see unofficial Barbie creations like the "Barbie Crystal Meth Lab" invented by The Tonight Show with Jay Leno or the "Dungeon Barbie" dressed in a bondage outfit.
