Cafe Rain Tree, San Francisco

Cafe Rain Tree is a popular cafe that serves breakfast all day long, and does so with quick and friendly service. Although it is open for lunch and dinner, many come here for the cheap breakfasts and Sunday brunch. The long, narrow interior consists of several small tables set against a window, and a substantial bar lined with wooden stools. Plastic chairs and tables are scattered outside on the sidewalk. A traditional Irish breakfast is the house specialty. The daily breakfast special for right around $5 includes two eggs, two pieces of bacon or sausage, and a choice of French toast or banana or blueberry pancakes.
