The Slanted Door's Charles Phan now has a SoMa restaurant serving a winning combination of cocktails and Dim Sum. The cuisine focuses on Northern Chinese dishes with innovative twists that keep the meal interesting, and features locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible. The modern Asian decor and the large windows in the bar area give this place a hip feel. Various seating options are available, from the low-backed bar stools at two long counters, to the dining space with small tables and the lounge area with comfortable, cube-shaped seats. Come for lunch, dinner, or drinks and appetizers.
