New Sun Hong Kong Restaurant, San Francisco

This place easily stands out because of the mural, three stories above, that celebrates the music scene here on the border between Chinatown and North Beach. This Cantonese-style restaurant features towering plates of noodles, both Chow Fun (wide and flat) and Chow Mein (spaghetti-like). Both types come with a variety of toppings to suit every taste. Find authentic dishes made with an excellent selection of seafood and some wonderfully thick and hearty soups.
