Om Shan Tea is a rustic teahouse where fine teas, organic foods, and cultural events are offered to inspire healing, conscious community and holistic wellness. Situated in a highly accessible location in the bustling Mission District of San Francisco, Om Shan Tea's focus is to create a contemplative and rich experience through traditional and ceremonial tea service in a beautiful environment. Their tea menu consists only of the finest array of world-class healing teas including a selection of smooth and earthy puer tea, which is a traditional fermented black tea from China. They also offer a variety of other Chinese teas (green, white, oolong), South American teas, several herbal teas without the caffeine (the Herbal House Blend is especially soothing and tasty), as well as a variety of tea accessories. Their food menu consists of organic, vegan, local dishes with an emphasis on the healing properties of food ingredients. The teahouse also offers an eclectic program of events, ranging from belly dancers and world music, to workshops on energy healing and performances by Sufi swirling dervishes.
